If you’re a landlord in the Bristol area you are required by law (under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998) to have a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (otherwise known as a CP12 Gas Safety Certificate) for all the gas burning appliances in your rental properties.
The Gas Safety Certificate checks equipment such as gas boilers, gas fires, gas cookers and gas water heaters to ensure they are in a safe condition for use and lasts for 12 months (or until the tenancy changes hands). They can only be issued by Gas Safe registered engineers.
Our fully qualified, Gas Safe registered Engineers (you can view our registration details here) are dedicated to providing a safe, reliable and efficient solution to your gas needs and have been providing Landlords with Gas Safety Certificates (or CP12 Gas Safety Certificates) in Bristol for 10 years.
All gas appliances at the property will be serviced to meet statutory requirements, manufacturers recommendations and relevant codes of practice.
Our inspection includes:

Inspection of ignition devices i.e. pilot lights and/or spark and flame sensing electrodes

Testing the appliance in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction to ensure
The heat input and/or operating pressure are correct
